Holiday Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 bread slices
    3 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 c. white raisins
    1/2 c. dates, cut up
    1 small jar sliced maraschino cherries plus juice
    1 c. broken pecans
    1/8 lb. butter
Preparation
    Beat together first 3 ingredients, then add next 5 ingredients.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
    Raise heat to 400\u00b0 for a few minutes at end.
    Remove.
    Combine pecans and butter; add to top.
