Kringla - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. sweet milk
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. (or more) flour
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Combine liquids and egg.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add to first mixture alternately with liquids.
    Knead dough lightly on board until smooth.
    Add a little flour when needed.
    Roll into strips about 1/2-inch thick, 8 inches long. Twist into figure 8.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until tan. Serve like rolls, buttered.
