Pickles - Sweet And Sour - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt per qt.
    small pickles, washed and scrubbed
Preparation
    Put pickles in jars.
    Mix water, sugar, vinegar and salt. Heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Pour over jars and water bath until the pickles begin to change color.
    This makes 3 1/2 quarts.
