Ingredients

3 c. diced beets (canned or fresh)
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
6 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. water
3 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch, butter and water.
Cook over hot water until smooth and thick.
Season to taste.
Add beets.
Heat thoroughly.
Serve at once.
Makes 6 servings.
