Feather Scones - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
4 tsp. baking powder
2/3 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. shortening
2 eggs, beaten
about 6 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Sift flour with baking powder and salt, then rub in the shortening.
Beat eggs and milk together, then stir in.
Use a bit more milk, if necessary, to make a rather soft, yet easily handled dough.
Knead slightly on floured board.
Roll out, to about 1/2-inch.
Cut in triangles or cut out with round biscuit cutter. Bake on ungreased pan in a 425\u00b0 oven for about 15 minutes, or until high and brown.
Serve at once with butter.
