Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
Preparation
    Heat
    milk
    to\twarm temperature.
    Dissolve yeast.
    Let set a few minutes.
    Add sugar and salt while warm.
    Gradually add 2 cups flour and egg.
    Beat at slow speed for 1/2 minute. Beat 3 minutes at high speed.
    Stir in as much of the remaining flour as you can mix with a spoon.
    Knead in enough of the remaining flour to make a moderately stiff dough.
    Knead until smooth, 6 to
    8 minutes. Shape into ball.
    Place in a greased bowl.\tTurn
    once.
    Cover. Let
    rise
    until
    double, 45 to 60 minutes.
