Refrigerator Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. boiling water
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. All-Bran cereal
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. Bran Buds cereal
Preparation
    Sift together first 3 ingredients.
    Pour boiling water over All-Bran (set aside).
    Cream together sugar and shortening until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, beat well, blend in buttermilk, Bran Buds and soaked All-Bran.
    Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well.
    Can be refrigerated up to 6 weeks.
    When needed, fill greased muffin tin 2/3 full and bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
