Croutons - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. stale bread (about 10 to 12 slices)
1 1/4 c. butter
2 tsp. Italian seasoning (optional)
Preparation

In large bowl place bread cubes.
In small saucepan melt butter with Italian seasoning.
Pour butter mixture over bread cubes, toss to coat.
Spread cubes in 15 x 10-inch pan.
Bake in 250\u00b0 oven 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Spread on paper towel to cool.
Old freezer bread is excellent for croutons.
