Barbecue Pork And Beef Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew beef
    1 1/2 lb. pork, cubed
    2 c. onions, chopped
    3 green peppers, chopped
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 c. chili powder (more if desired)
Preparation
    About 8 1/2 hours before serving time, combine all ingredients in a 3 1/2 to 5-quart slow cooker.
    Cook on high setting for 8 hours.
    When done, stir with wire whisk or large fork until meat is shredded.
    Serve on buns with chopped tomato.
    Makes 12 large sandwiches.
