Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head firm cabbage
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 stick oleo
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    8 to 10 slices toast
Preparation
    Shred cabbage.
    Cook cabbage, onion and bouillon cubes (which have been dissolved in 2 cups of hot water) until cabbage begins to be tender.
    Add sugar and salt.
