Eldorado Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. small beef strips or hamburger
    1 tbsp. onion
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 c. sliced ripe olives
    1 c. or 1/2 pt. sour cream
    1 c. small curd cottage cheese
    3 to 4 canned chilies, seeded and chopped
    1 pkg. crisp tortilla chips
    2 c. or 1/2 lb. grated Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation
    Brown beef.
    Add onion, garlic and tomato sauce.
    Combine sour cream and cottage cheese with chilies and ripe olives.
    Crush tortilla chips in bottom of well buttered 2 1/2-quart casserole. Add 1/2 meat mixture.
    Cover with 1/2 sour cream mixture. Sprinkle with 1/2 grated cheese.
    Repeat layers.
    Bake, uncovered, in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Garnish with reserved tortilla chips.
    Serves 6 to 8.
