Microwave Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 baking apples (about 6 oz. each)
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped nuts or raisins
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. lite margarine
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Core apples, leaving small plug in blossom end; peel skin 1-inch from top.
    Combine sugar, nuts and cinnamon; fill apples with mixture.
    Arrange apples in an 8-inch square microwavable dish.
    Dot with margarine and sprinkle with water.
    Cook in microwave oven, covered with plastic wrap, at High for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Let stand 5 minutes; serve warm or chilled, spooning sauce over apples.
    Yield:
    4 servings.
