Sweet Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can young sweet peas
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. diced sweet pickles, drain
    1/2 tsp. diced onion (optional)
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/3 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Drain liquid off peas; empty into mixing bowl.
    Add cubed cheese and celery.
    Mix mayonnaise, drained pickles, onions and mustard.
    Toss peas, cheese and celery lightly with mayonnaise mixture.
    Chill.
    Serve on lettuce cups.
    Serves 6.
