Raisin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. seeded raisins
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. flour
    juice of 1 lemon
    2 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
Preparation
    Wash raisins and soak in cold water for 3 hours.
    Drain; combine 2 cups water, raisins, sugar and flour.
    Also mix together with salt, lemon juice and rind and egg.
    Mix thoroughly and cook over hot water for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Let cool. Pour into empty pie shell; cover with dough strips, crisscrossed. Bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 more minutes.
