Sweet And Sour Kraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large can sauerkraut, drained and squeezed
6 slices bacon, cut up
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 chopped red pepper (optional)
Preparation

Brown bacon in skillet until crisp.
Remove bacon.
Add onion and red pepper to bacon grease and saute.
Mix kraut, brown sugar browned onion, bacon, etc.
Cook in moderate oven or on top of stove 30 to 40 minutes.
It keeps 6 weeks or longer.
