Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 box raisins
2 tsp. soda, dissolved in juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. butter
1 c. raisin juice
2 eggs
1 pt. jam
2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Cook raisins in pint of water with 2 teaspoons of sugar.
Add soda to juice.
Put raisins in mixing bowl with rest of ingredients.
Add juice and stir well.
Add flour gradually until mixture is thick.
Add jam.
Pour into well-greased tube pan.
Be sure to flour the bottom of the pan.
Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 until done.
