Ground Beef Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) deep dish frozen pie shell
    1 lb. ground chuck or sirloin
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 eggs
    1 (5.33 oz.) can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Let pie shell stand at room temperature for 10 minutes, then prick bottom and sides of crust with fork. Bake just until crust begins to brown, about 5 minutes. Let cool.
