Homemade Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato paste or 1 large can whole tomatoes, diced
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 cans kidney beans
    1 heavy pinch garlic powder
    1 bell pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    black pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 pkg. Chili-O mix
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in bacon drippings.
    Mix in garlic powder and onion; saute.
    When beef is browned, add bell pepper and tomatoes or sauce.
    Simmer about 10 minutes.
    Stir occasionally. Then add beans, juice, salt and pepper.
    Cook about 20 minutes. Add chili powder and Chili-O mix.
    Simmer to blend flavors.
