Bessie'S White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 lb. blanched almonds
    1 3/4 lb. mixed fruit
    1/2 lb. white raisins
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    5 eggs
    1/4 c. pineapple juice
Preparation
    Use 1/3 of the flour to coat fruit and nuts.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Sift together flour and baking powder.
    Add eggs, one at a time, with 3 tablespoons flour, to creamed mixture.
    Add 1/2 cup pineapple juice and the rest of flour.
    Add fruit and nuts; mix well.
    Bake in prepared tube pan for 3 hours at 275\u00b0.
