Corned Beef And Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, cut up
    1 beef bouillon cube or 1 tsp. soup base
    1 can corned beef, cut up
    3 to 4 slices bacon
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp in large kettle.
    Add cut-up cabbage and water (enough to cover).
    Add salt, pepper and bouillon cube or soup base.
    Cook and cover until tender.
    Add corned beef, cover and simmer 10 minutes.
