9 Day Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. cabbage
    1 green pepper
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 c. apple cider vinegar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 large onion
    2 c. sugar (better if you only use 1 3/4 c. sugar)
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Chop and mix cabbage, onions and green pepper.
    Pour 1 cup sugar over at once and let stand 15 minutes.
    Bring to boil salad oil, vinegar, celery seed, salt and 1 cup sugar.
    Pour over all and mix.
    Refrigerate.
    Good for 9 days.
