Green Beans With Marjoram - cooking recipe

1 1/2 lb. fresh green beans
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. dried marjoram
Preparation

Wash green beans. Trim ends and remove strings. Cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces. Bring 3/4 cup water to a boil in a Dutch oven. Add green beans. Cover. Reduce heat to medium and cook 8 minutes, stirring frequently. Drain. Return beans to pan. Add butter and remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until crisp-tender, stirring often. Yield: 6 servings.
