Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 slices bread
1 lb. sausage
1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 tsp. pepper
salt
3/4 c. half and half
1 1/4 c. milk
5 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. mustard
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, chopped and drained
Preparation

Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
Remove crusts from bread and cube. Line bottom of pan with cubes.
Cook sausage and drain.
Sprinkle over bread.
Cover with cheeses and mushrooms.
Combine cream, milk and eggs.
Add seasonings and pour over other ingredients. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake, covered, for 1 hour. Serves 8.
