Shipwreck Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 onion
    5 or 6 potatoes
    2 cans tomato soup
    milk
    1 c. Minute rice
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
Preparation
    Brown hamburger and onion; drain.
    Season to taste.
    Place in layers sliced raw potatoes about 1-inch thick in bottom of large casserole bowl.
    Combine tomato soup, 1/2 soup can milk, chopped celery, chopped green pepper and uncooked Minute rice.
    Pour half of mixture over potato slices.
    Layer half of hamburger mixture, tomato mixture and remaining hamburger.
    Top with thin layer of potato slices.
    Cover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Serves 6 to 8 people.
    Just as good the second day.
