Cream Cheese Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

8 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 1/4 c. pecans
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Karo syrup
Preparation

Cream the first 4 ingredients until smooth, then add egg and beat.
Pour into a 10-inch pie shell; sprinkle with pecans and set aside.
Beat gently the eggs, sugar, vanilla and Karo.
Pour into pie shell over previous ingredients.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes, or until firm.
