Vegetarian Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 large onions
    2 green peppers
    3 (16 oz.) cans red kidney beans
    2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans tomato soup
    1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. black pepper
    2 Tbsp. chili powder (this is hot)
    salt to taste
    grated Cheddar cheese (optional)
Preparation
    In large Dutch oven saute sliced peppers and onions in oil until lucid.
    Add all other ingredients.
    Cook on low to medium flame for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Serve covered with melted cheese, if desired.
