Calico Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 large can whole kernel corn
    1 large can green peas
    1 large can French-style green beans
    1 jar pimentos, cut up
    1/2 c. each: green bell pepper, celery and onion
    1/2 c. grated carrots
Preparation
    Bring the first 6 ingredients to a boil and cool until warm. Put the next 3 ingredients in a colander and drain well.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Pour dressing over the vegetables.
    Mix well.
    Will keep for 6 weeks in refrigerator.
