Mom'S Dutch Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. sliced cucumbers
    6 qt. sliced onions
    4 red peppers, cubed
    1 qt. water
    1/2 c. salt
    2 1/2 lb. sugar
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
    1 qt. vinegar
Preparation
    Soak overnight in salt and water.
    Drain in the morning.
    Use a cup of vinegar to mix flour and sugar.
    Add other ingredients. Boil for 30 minutes in a quart of vinegar.
    Can in clean, hot jars.
