Peanut Butter Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. white syrup
    1 c. water
    2 egg whites
    1 jar peanut butter
Preparation
    Mix together the sugar, syrup and water.
    Boil until it forms a
    ball
    in
    cold
    water
    when tested.
    Beat egg whites. Pour in mixture
    a little at a time.
    Beat until stiff.
    Pour on
    buttered wax paper.
    Spread with peanut butter, then roll like a jelly roll and slice.
    Do not put in icebox.
