Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream together the margarine, shortening and sugar until fluffy.
    Add the eggs, one at a time.
    Add the vanilla, flour and milk; mix well.
    Start in cold oven; bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour, then at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Do not open oven for 1 1/2 hours.
    Makes one 10-inch tube cake.
