Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    head lettuce
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped cauliflower
    1 c. chopped broccoli
    small can June peas
    large jar bacon bits
    salad dressing
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Wash and tear lettuce into bite-size pieces.
    Put in
    9 x 13-inch container.
    Layer in order the next 5 ingredients. Sprinkle grated cheese to cover.
    Spread salad dressing over cheese to cover and seal well.
    This is better if made a day ahead.
    Before serving, stir well.
