Crisp Corn Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    4 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
Preparation
    Mix sifted cornmeal, salt and baking soda.
    Add oil and stir, then add buttermilk and syrup.
    Stir well.
