Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 sticks melted butter
    5 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk or sweet milk
    2 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Beat egg whites. Mix sugar and flour thoroughly.
    Add 1/2 cup buttermilk.
    Add beaten egg yolks and remaining milk.
    Fold in melted butter.
    Slowly pour into unbaked shell.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until knife is inserted and comes out clean.
