Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    2 1/4 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sour milk
    1 c. mashed banana
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together.
    Add well-beaten eggs and mix until smooth.
    Sift the flour once before measuring.
    Sift flour, baking powder, salt and soda together and add alternately with sour milk and mashed bananas.
    Beat well and add flavoring. Place in 2 greased and floured layer cake pans and bake approximately 30 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
    When cool, frost cake with 7 minute or any white vanilla frosting.
