Scotch Shortbread(Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter (not oleo)
    1 c. brown sugar
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream butter until fluffy.
    Add brown sugar and cream well. Add flour until soft and dough is formed.
    Separate dough into 2 or 3 logs.
    Place in freezer until stiff enough to slice into 1-inch slices.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Do not overbake.
    Best if dough is chilled before rolling into logs.
