Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head romaine lettuce, torn to bite size
    1 head iceberg lettuce, torn to bite size
    1 medium can English peas, drained
    1 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 small can water chestnuts, sliced
    3 stalks celery, chopped
    1 bunch green onions, chopped
    2 c. mayonnaise or Ranch style dressing (for top)
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Layer all ingredients in order given, adding mayonnaise or dressing on top.
    Chill 8 to 12 hours.
    Serve.
