Asparagus Chinese Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. dark sesame oil or other oil
    sprinkling of sugar
    1 bunch asparagus, washed, trimmed and cut diagonally into 1-inch pieces
    boiling water
Preparation
    Put asparagus in a large, shallow skillet; pour in boiling water.
    Return to a boil and cook 5 minutes only; drain thoroughly and chill.
    Toss with marinade not more than 1/2 hour before serving or it will turn asparagus dark.
    Good for company as can be made 1 or 2 days ahead and served cold or at room temperature.
