Italian Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Sugar
    1/2 c. Butter
    1/2 c. Oil
    5 Eggs (separated)
    Vanilla
    2 C. Flour
    1 tsp. Baking Soda
    1 tsp. Vanilla
    Pinch Salt
    1 c. Buttermilk
    1 c. Coconut
    1/2 c. Pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Cream sugar, butter, oil, and egg yokes together.
    Add vanilla, flour, baking soda, and salt.
    Add coconut.
    Add Pecans.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in batter.
    Bake in 3 layers or 9 x 13 inch pan at 375 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Cool completely.
