Joyce'S Tortilla Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1 medium bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 onion, chopped
    garlic salt
    pepper
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    2 soup cans water
    picante sauce
    grated rat cheese
    HEB tortilla chips (round ones)
Preparation
    Brown meat with bell pepper, onion, garlic salt and pepper in a large pot or wok; drain off excess fat.
    Add soup and water; mix well.
    Spray or grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Place a layer of tortilla chips in bottom of pan.
    Pour on some of the meat mixture.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Repeat layers, ending with additional chopped onion and cheese.
    Cover with foil and bake for about 1 hour or until bubbly in a 350\u00b0 oven.
