Stack Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sorghum
    1 c. butter
    4 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream sorghum and butter until well blended. Combine milk with beaten eggs. Mix together. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture. Stir only until smooth. Divide in 6 parts, 1 cup each. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes. Put together with cooked, dried apples or apple butter.
