Butter Pecan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 oz. bottle lemon flavoring
    4 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 lb. candied cherries (1/2 green, 1/2 red)
    1 box chopped dates
    1 qt. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream together butter, sugar and lemon flavoring.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Bake in tube pan for 1 hour at 250\u00b0 or longer if needed.
