Peppermint Pie - cooking recipe

1 1/3 c. finely crushed chocolate wafers
1/3 c. melted butter or margarine
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. finely crushed hard peppermint candies
6 eggs, separated
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1 carton Cool Whip
Preparation

Early in the day, mix crushed chocolate wafers with melted butter; press into bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Refrigerate.
