Chicken And Sausage Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. smoked sausage, sliced
    1 chicken
    3 medium tomatoes
    1 green pepper
    1 medium onion
    1 1/2 qt. water
Preparation
    Flour and lightly brown chicken.
    Saute vegetables in chicken drippings for about 5 minutes.
    Add small amount of flour to make a roux and stir.
    Combine chicken, sausage, vegetables, roux and water in a large pot.
    Cook over low heat for around 2 hours. Serve soup over rice.
