Sauerkraut And Potato Cake(German) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. butter or oleo
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    2 c. flour
    4 eggs, beat separately
    1/2 c. melted chocolate
Preparation
    Beat the egg yolks separately; mix the yolks and rest of ingredients.
    Beat the whites of the eggs until stiff.
    Fold in 1 can of rinsed sauerkraut, drained well.
    Add egg whites and nuts. Bake in a tube cake pan for 1 hour or until tested done.
    Serves 12.
