Rot Kraut (Red Cabbage) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. shortening
1 medium red cabbage (4 c., shredded)
2 medium apples, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Melt shortening.
Add shredded cabbage, chopped apples and water.
Cook until tender.
Add blended flour, vinegar, sugar and seasoning.
Cook a few minutes longer.
