Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg yolks
    pinch of salt
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 lb. box vanilla wafers
    2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. sugar
    3 c. milk
    6 bananas
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add flour, egg yolks, salt and vanilla extract.
    Gradually add 1/4 cup milk.
    Add remainder of 3 cups milk.
    Put in double boiler.
    Cook slowly, stirring constantly, until almost thick.
    In large dish, add layers of vanilla wafers and banana slices.
    Add custard.
