Marzetti - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 oz. cooked noodles
2 tsp. shortening
1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped fine
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms (juice, stems and pieces)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 can cream of tomato soup
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/3 c. water
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated
Preparation

Melt shortening and brown the ground beef.
Add onion, green pepper and mushrooms.
Cook until tender.
Add salt, pepper, oregano, tomato soup, tomato paste, water and Worcestershire sauce.
Place a layer of noodles in greased 3-quart casserole, then a layer of meat sauce and half of cheese.
Repeat.
Top with cheese.
Bake in 3-quart casserole uncovered in 375\u00b0 oven about 45 minutes.
