Fresh Peach Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 c. sliced fresh peaches (1 3/4 to 2 lb.)
    3 c. sugar, divided
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    dash of salt
    4 c. milk
    2 (12 oz.) cans evaporated milk
    6 large eggs, lightly beaten
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Combine peaches and 3/4 cup sugar in blender or food processor. Process until finely chopped. Set aside. Combine remaining 2 1/4 cups sugar, flour and salt in a Dutch oven. Stir in milk, evaporated milk and eggs. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 10 minutes, until thickened. Cool. Stir in peaches and flavorings. Pour mixture into ice cream freezer and freeze.
