Hawaiian Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white corn syrup
    3/4 c. water
    3 egg whites
    1/4 c. Hawaiian Punch
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar, white corn syrup and water.
    Boil until mixture spins threads.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Slowly add syrup, beating constantly.
    When candy thickens, add Hawaiian Punch.
    Add chopped nuts.
    Beat until stiff.
    Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper. Makes 2 pounds.
