Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 c. popped popcorn
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Put popcorn in a greased 15 1/2 x 10-inch pan.
    Melt butter, sugar and corn syrup together (bring to a boil).
    Boil for 5 minutes over medium heat.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in vanilla, salt and soda.
    Pour syrup over popcorn.
    Add nuts, if you want. Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
